pURPOSE
CUSJ’s Columbia Scientist aims to promote scientific literacy and knowledge beyond original research. We provide a platform for high schoolers, undergraduates, as well as graduate students, to present and express novel scientific viewpoints that push the boundaries of traditional scientific discovery.

Columbia Scientist, founded by the Columbia Undergraduate Science Journal, is an open-access editorial journal that features non-research-based material including opinion editorials, scientific briefings, science artwork, science podcasts, and more. Founded in 2020, we act as an outlet for anyone to express their opinions, emotions, reservations, and or excitements about a given scientific topic. We publish our journal annually in the Spring. |
